While they’re not getting married until October and due to living in Aberdeen, Hazel and Pete arranged their pre-wedding session for this weekend during a flying visit north. They travelled up yesterday to hear all about the rain we’d had all day long and think they were not looking for much in the way of weather for their session this morning.
BUT…they’ve been in Aberdeen too long…Caithness can and does have at least 3 of the 4 seasons in any one day and thankfully this morning it was a bit overcast but warm early summers day.
I suggested a couple of places we could go for their shoot and as Hazel had never been to Geise Farm Walk we decided to go there. Hazel, not knowing what to expect when we arrived, loved the location, so much so she wants to go there on her wedding day too.
It’s such a beautiful location which was started in 2005 and is lovingly tended by the old owner who travels up almost daily from Bonar Bridge to tend the paths around the walk for our enjoyment.
Thanks to another great couple who allowed me to play around with my Fuji X-T3 camera and a borrowed X-T2 camera too. I’m becoming much more comfortable using these cameras and the weight difference compared to my Canon cameras really is significantly less so hoping the transition across to Fuji will see me have less back and shoulder pain in the days following a wedding.
We offer complimentary pre-wedding sessions on our Bronze, Silver and Gold Collections. For more information on our weddings click HERE
